2 kids hit by minivan while walking to school in NYC crash

A minivan struck two children apparently on their way to school in Brooklyn Wednesday morning, cops said.

The 13-year-old girl and 12-year-old boy were walking at the intersection of 16th Avenue and 62nd Street in Bensonhurst just after 8 a.m. when a Nissan minivan driver — heading east on 62nd Street — collided with the pair, police said.

Both victims were taken to Maimonides Medical Center, where they were listed in stable condition with minor injuries, authorities said.

The collision happened steps from Bais Sarah, a private all-girls Jewish school and less than a mile from Franklin Delano Roosevelt High School.
